How Does Hibiscus and Honey Firming Cream Work?

This formula contains collagen and elastin, which replace some of the amount that has diminished with age. According to Study, millions of post-adolescent women suffer from lipodystrophy syndromes, of which cellulite is one of the most prevalent[1]. This Firming Cream tightens the skin and improves elasticity, smoothing cellulite and wrinkles. This cream has anti-microbial benefits that get rid of harmful bacteria on the skin.

Hibiscus and Honey Firming Cream is also high in anti-inflammatory benefits, which reduce redness and swelling and can help heal the skin. It’s also high in antioxidants, which kill free radicals and lower oxidative stress, repair damage to the skin barrier, and protect from UV rays and pollutants. An article in ISRN Nutrition discussed the role of antioxidants in preventing photoaging.[2]

There are ingredients that improve blood circulation, and this helps to break down the fat cells under the skin and also gives it a radiant appearance. Hibiscus and Honey Firming Cream is also a hydrating formula that moisturizes, eliminates dryness, and plumps the skin to smooth wrinkles and other skin abrasions.

Hibiscus and Honey Firming Cream Ingredients – Are they Safe & Effective?

These are the primary active ingredients in Hibiscus and Honey Firming Cream:

Collagen

Collagen is a protein which exists naturally in the skin, and it diminishes with age. It helps tighten and lift the skin, improve elasticity, and smooth wrinkles, lines, and cellulite.

In addition, it can boost hydration. A study in Nutrients found that a collagen supplement improved skin elasticity, hydration, roughness, and density. [3]

Honey

Honey is rich in proteins, vitamins, amino acids, minerals, and enzymes. It’s very enriching for the skin, and it also has anti-microbial benefits which can kill harmful bacteria. It has potent anti-inflammatory agents and can heal wounds and skin conditions.

It also has antioxidants which repair and protect the skin. An article in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology explored the benefits of honey in dermatology and skin care. [4]

Tea Tree Oil

This oil comes from a plant that grows in Australia, and it has numerous benefits for the skin. It has anti-microbial benefits which kill bacteria, and anti-inflammatory agents which help treat skin conditions. For instance, Body Restore Shower Steamers use tea tree oil as one of their ingredients to help soothe and relax the skin.

It’s also a powerful antioxidant. A review in the International Journal of Dermatology discussed the applications of tea tree oil in dermatology. Additionally, tea tree oil has a positive effect on wound healing.[5]

Hibiscus

This plant has a tremendous ability to retain moisture, keeping the skin well hydrated and helping to plump it and smooth wrinkles and lines. In addition, it can cleanse the pores of dirt and oils.

An article in Plants discussed the phenolic compounds in hibiscus and their potential skin and cosmetic applications. Hibiscus plant extracts can serve as effective skin cosmetic ingredients, safeguarding cells from oxidative stress, collagen degradation, and UV radiation.[6]

What Do the Hibiscus And Honey Firming Cream Reviews Say?

Most customers have praised the Cream and have found that the brand gives them value for their money. Following are some customer reviews of Hibiscus And Honey Firming Cream before and after results:

I really enjoy the subtle, pleasant floral scent of this Hibiscus and Honey skin firming cream. It absorbs well and leaves my skin feeling smooth and moisturized. However, despite using it daily for a month, I didn’t notice any improvement in firmness. I can’t speak to its tightening or lifting effects, but it does make my skin feel softer. Perhaps applying it multiple times a day could yield better results.
~Carly Dorsey

Previously, my skin was really dry and harsh. But within just two weeks of using this, I saw noticeable improvements without feeling greasy. The only drawback is that due to its limited shelf life, you cannot order this cream in quantity. I wish it had a longer shelf life. ~Lucy S.

Cellulite is routinely found in the thighs, hips, buttocks, and stomach. Unfortunately, maintaining an optimal body weight, eating healthy, staying active, and even regular exercise may not be enough to combat cellulite.

Hibiscus and Honey Firming Cream for Cellulite
Hibiscus and Honey Firming Cream is a total waste of money. After using it for a month, it does not work for Cellulite…and the great thing is that it does not cause any side effects on my skin.
  2. Kathi Mccaw

Proot's Hibiscus and Honey Firming Cream.
I have used Proot’s Hibiscus and Honey Firming Cream for quite a few months now. I am very happy with the results (skin firming, skin hydration, etc). Have reordered it and will continue to do so.
